Good morning lovelies!

Can you believe that the week is almost over? I certainly cannot, but at least it is a good excuse to show you some pretties today in the form of the cover shoot that I styled for the November 2012 Wedding DAY magazine which featured in one of its pages this brisbane wedding dress store.

table

For the November 2012 Wedding DAY issue, I designed a modern black and white setup that contrasts beautifully with the rustic feel of Palazzo Palina. To avoid making it monotonous, the trick was layering different textures and finishes. We set up the table with a black polka dot runner, on which Joseph arranged a mixture of anthuriums, hydrangea, phalaenopsis and vanda orchids in cube vases. The candelabras completed the striking tableau. I continued the attention to detail with every place setting. Espresso cups filled with candy were placed at every setting as favors. Coasters, with beautiful calligraphy from Charmaine Falzon, were used as placecards. One of my favorite, yet very simple, things used in this setup were the black ribbons with diamante sliders that were tied round the napkins.

Doesn’t the model look gorgeous in that gown from Wedding Bells? I also love the chignon with a modern twist and the smoky eye makeup. Yazmin’s real-life boyfriend also looks dashing in a classic tuxedo.
