Good morning lovelies!

Today’s post is sure to brighten your day. Ribbons never fail to cheer me up … they give weddings and events such a whimsical air! And the ways in which you can incorporate them do seem endless.

Everybody already knows I love braids, so what can I say to braids and ribbons?

These mismatched ribbons on baby breaths’ bouquets add that touch of whimsy, which I’m head over heels in love with. And what about these ribbon wands (via A Low Country Wedding) in lieu of flower girls’ bouquets? I’m sure your flower girls will be more than happy to carry these all day!

Ribbons can also be used for your wedding ceremony. Ribbons (seen on Pinterest) can also prove to be romantic, especially with all those candles lighting the space. Or why not use ribbons in your colour theme to brighten up the space?  I’ve seen many fireplace mantles being used in ceremonies, but hanging ribbons in the fireplace ups the level of prettiness by quite some notches. Hanging tealight holders using ribbons is also a simple but effective backdrop.

I’m imagining ribbons hanging on these chairs fluttering away in the wind … so romantic! They can either be weaved through Chiavari chairs, or ribbons of different colours may be tied to the back of your chairs.

Besides loving the shades of purple, these ribbons tied to stirrers are way beyond cute. This couple had the ingenious idea of providing guests with ribbons of different colours to show which language they speak! And is it only me who swoons when I see ribbons hanging from that tree?
