Good morning lovelies!
Lately I’ve been seeing polka dots everywhere, and I sure am not complaining. My first recollection of polka dots was when I was about seven or eight, and my dad bought this awesome blue and white polka dress for my mum. She wore it for a garden party and she looked beautiful. (On a sidenote, she still has this dress, and I tried it a few months ago but it does not suit my figure at all :() Anyway, back to polka dots … I think they can be classy or fun, depends on the way they are used and the colours.
First up, of course, are the dresses. Brides looking to incorporate polka dots (or their small relative, the swiss dots) in their attire will be spoilt for choice. There are so many fabulous polka and swiss dotted dresses that I really had a hard time narrowing down the pictures for the blog (Long dress and short dress). I’m also loving this delicate swiss dot veil by Kristi Bonnici, who also happens to have other gorgeous hair pieces incorporating dots.
And let’s not forget something for the dapper groom …
Something for the bridesmaids as well (Dress one seen here and Dress two seen here) … And a pair of shoes that had us swooning!
There are so many ways tat you can incorporate polka dots in your decor and wedding details. Here I’ve posted some of my favourites. Even though the dots on the first invite technically are neither swiss dots nor polka dots, I’m loving the idea of having the dots impressed.
