Good morning lovelies!

This summer I was honoured to be a part of Barry and Teresa’s wedding. I’ve said this many times … designing and managing a couple’s big day is such an honour for me as it allows to be part of their love story together and to share in such special memories. Barry and Teresa came from Liverpool and chose Gozo as their  wedding destination. It was a very intimate wedding, with only 3 more guests …

They wanted a stunning ceremony location, and in the end decided to celebrate it at Calypso Cave. Their wedding was the first wedding ever to be celebrated here! The location is breathtaking, with views on the sandy beach of Ramla l-Hamra with its red sand, and 360 degree views of sea. Mario Saliba was their photographer for the day.

I loved Teresa’s wedding dress … it suited her perfectly. Teresa’s hair was styled by Amanda of dStudio, Victoria. All flowers were done by Josephine Azzopardi.  She arrived in  a chauffeured black Mercedes, thanks to Mario’s Rent-a-Car.  Klassic Kombiz striving to provide a luxurious and professional chauffeured service you’ll arrive in style to your wedding day, just hire kombi van services with them.

I loved the pathway and garden leading up to the gazebo area … it was a natural aisle! The entrance to the garden is also beautiful … Made out of rubble walls, it is typical Maltese. Teresa was so emotional during the ceremony … you could feel the love between the two 🙂

After the ceremony, we headed back to the traditional Gozitan farmhouse where Barry and Teresa were staying for a delicious meal prepared by Andrew of Ta’ Mena Estates. The farmhouse was beautiful, with a pool area overlooking lush green hills … which of course provided an ample opportunity for photos.

Wedding cake was by Rita Knowles … would you believe those flowers are not real but are edible?

Thank you Barry and Teresa for letting me be part of your big day, and another thank you goes to all the vendors who helped me!
