Good morning lovelies!
It seems that the awards season is upon us, and with that the amazing (and not so amazing) gowns and jewels paraded on the red carpet. So how could I let such an event pass without showing you some of the beautiful dresses that can inspire you for your wedding day?
Plunging Necklines
Both Sienna Miller and Kate Hudson look divine in their dresses with those plunging necklines. I love the details on Sienna Miller’s dress, but Kate Hudson is my personal favourite … In that dress she looks like a goddess!
Accessories
What’s not to love about Naomi Watts’ ensemble? The dress is a stunning yellow, a colour that we are not used to seeing so much. But the ultimate touch is the statement necklace that she is wearing!
Trousers
Both Emma Stone and Lorde have to be applauded for their outfits. Who knew you could be so elegant wearing trousers?
Best-Dressed Man
Who said that your hubby-to-be cannot be inspired by Golden Globes fashion? Matt Bomer stuns in a blue tux with black details.
My Favourites
It seems that many of favourites this year were red gowns. Catherine Zeta-Jones looks impeccable in her ruffled top gown, while Allison Williams sparkles in her tiered dress. Christine Baranski is very classy in her deep red dress, and I absolute love Heide Klum’s asymmetrical dress.
However red was not the only colour that I found stunning at this year’s awards. Lupita Nyong’o’s purple dress and Lelie Mann’s yellow dress are both amazing. Katherine Heigl looks divine as usual – I love both the colour and the very flattering cut of her dress. Last but not least is Julia Goldani Tellis’ electric blue dress with a sheer drop at the front.
I couldn’t choose an absolute favourite this year, so I bring you my faovurite four gowns for this year’s Golden Globe awards. Amy Adams looks spectacular in her lavender dress, with draping in all the right places. Chrissy Teigen’s gown was love at first sight, and then realised that the designer was Zuhair Murad (genius!). Eli Kemper’s dress featured tribal prints in intricate beading. And Jennifer Lopez in a caftan, showing so much skin but looking classy at the same time.
